Handicraft represents a history made up of traditions and crafts handed down from father to son.
People and their skills play a very important role in handicraft, the artisan shops keep alive the tradition of ancient crafts and the atmosphere of a bygone time.
The task of our artisans is to tell and tell the territory by expressing identity, tradition, passion through the quality of their products and laboratory activities designed to transmit knowledge but also to fascinate and emotionally involve visitors.
Celle Ligure offers the opportunity to visit three pottery artisan workshops: “IL TONDO" "L’ARBANELLA" and “IL BAREGO”.
Ceramiche "IL TONDO", Marcello and Andrea Mannuzza's art workshop since 1982, creates and produces ceramics with clean and harmonious lines.
The flagship of the workshop are the black "Buccheri" (a type of Etruscan ceramic made with a modern technique), of which Marcello is rightly proud.
Everything that is produced is done strictly by hand.
The workshop is frequented by numerous artists and ceramics courses are held throughout the year.
Many of the productions made by Il Tondo have been awarded nationally and internationally.
In 2018 Marcello Mannuzza becomes World Champion in the Esthete section at the Mondial Tornianti, in Faenza.

"ARBANELLA", located in Via Ciambrini, is the artisan ceramic workshop of the artist Beatrice Minuto.
The young Beatrice loves to create, design and experiment, she creates unique pieces, rigorously handmade, she likes to "get her hands dirty" and “feel” the experience that the material has the power to became a physical object.
She started experimenting with her passion in a small garage and then opened a real workshop where she creates and sells ceramic objects.
The artist believes that the beautiful object is the useful one, but also the one that tells a story and, especially today, in the fast and suffering world in which we live, we need to eliminate the "disposable" concept and focus on the value of the object that last over time.
